FAQ - Huddersfield Bouncy Castle Hire

A3 – What do I need to do if it rains?

If there is heavy rain the night before, or on the morning of the scheduled delivery date, you will receive a call from a member of our team to confirm whether the delivery will go ahead. If we decide the rain will make the bouncy castle unsafe, the order won’t go ahead, and it won’t cost you a penny. If you do decide to accept delivery on a rainy day, here are our suggestions.

If it starts raining, you should cover the plugs with plastic bags, to prevent damage to the electricals. You should also keep the bouncy castle inflated, as this allows the rain to drain off easily, and will dry out very quickly when the rain stops. If water gets into an deflated castle, it can take a very long time to dry out. If inflated, the castle will dry off rapidly as air pushes the moisture from the seams of the castle. Leave it for around 10-15 minutes and go over with an old towel if there is any standing water.

A4 – Can bouncy castles be set up indoors?

This depends on the ceiling height, and the size of the room you’ve booked. If you call 07944 487 578 and provide us with the measurements, we can confirm whether the desired castle will fit.

A5 – Do I need a generator or petrol blower?

The bouncy castle blowers are plugged into a standard electric power supply. We will bring extension cables if needed, but these can’t be used for distances longer than 50m. If the event is in a field where there is no source of power, we can supply a generator at an additional cost, but you will need to order one when you book the castle.

A6 – Can I cancel my bouncy castle hire booking?

As long as you provide us with 24 hours notice, there will be no cancellation fee. You can cancel a booking by speaking to a member of our team on 07944 487 578. If the weather is too bad we may cancel your booking due to safety reasons, and this will also be free of charge.

A7 – Can adults use the bouncy castles?

Adults should not use the castles designed for children. However, we offer bouncy castles with tall walls and reinforced seams specifically designed for adults.

A8 – Will you supervise the unit?

No. Once the set up is complete, the unit will be left in your hands. It is important that you follow the health & safety instructions discussed with you on delivery.

A9 – What payment methods do you accept?

Payment should be made in cash to the driver on delivery.

A10 – What events do you supply bouncy castles for?

Children’s parties, adult parties, weddings, christenings, corporate events, local galas, charity fundraisers, freshers events at Huddersfield University, sports club events, and many other parties. We offer a wide range of bouncy castles, inflatable assault courses, and inflatable slides, providing options for both indoor and outdoor use.
